New UI, tags on clippings and Friends
We just pushed out some new things that we think are pretty cool.

1. New and improved UI
We've cleaned up the UI quite a bit and made it look a little more finished. The previous look was, admittedly, pretty lame. We like this one much better.

2. Tags on clippings
We've added the ability to tag clippings. In addition, we have a nifty little tag chooser that displays all of your existing tags, so you can add them to new clippings with a single click.

3. Friends v0.9
We've built the foundation for all of the future Friends enhancements. Now, you can add other Profilactic members as Friends. And then... oh, wait, that's all you can do with Friends right now.

Of course, in the next few weeks, we'll be adding new Friends-related features like Friends' Mashup which pulls together all of your Friends' content into a single view.

4. My stuff dropdown menu
This is a very minor enhancement; however, now you can jump any of your pages (mashup, profile, clippings and friends) from the My Stuff menu in the header.

Please take a few minutes to kick around the new UI and features, then let us know what you think.
Comments:
Love the new design--haven't extensively peeked around it or the features in this post too much yet except for just using the site a bit, adding you to my friends list, and making sure things are getting fed correctly.

Here are a few things I've been keeping note of to mention (mostly shamelessly request :p) though.

1) Requiring verification of the user's current password to change (even so much as view would be even better) /any/ account settings would make things all secure-like. (of which 99% of the risk are those absent-minded folk who might stay logged in at a public or other non-secure terminal *gasp* :)

2) Ability to add more than one feed ("Add another feed" hotlink directly under the text box for the first feed?) to each custom site (for stuff like faves, etc, all which belong to one site). Ability to see the feed URL(s) on entries (just in the 'Set up your sites' page is what I'd recommend).

3) The formatting for the "big blue" digg (profile) link should be:
http://digg.com/users/*username*/profile
for "Things I've dugg":
http://digg.com/users/*username*/news/dugg
"Things I've submitted":
http://digg.com/users/*username*/news/submitted
There are also a few more options in the news tab at digg, as well as a few other tabs (videos, podcasts, friends, profile). 'Dunno if the feed you grab from includes these, just thought it might be another thing to try out :]

4) Zooomr could have links to faves:
http://beta.zooomr.com/photos/*userid*/faves
and sets:
http://beta.zooomr.com/photos/*userid*/sets

5) Last.fm support? (they provide feeds at http://www.last.fm/tools/feeds for individual users; some other sites that also provide data feeds beneficial to the mashup idea are deviantART and StumbleUpon)
