Biography

Benjamin Wey is a bilingual Chinese-American and an expert on international business transactions between the two countries he accepts as part of his cultural identity. Wey first arrived on American soil as a student in 1992 and began attendance at Oklahoma Baptist University in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which he received in 1994. By 1999, Benjamin Wey had finished his business education, a process which culminated in his attainment of an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma. Today, Benjamin Wey is the president of New York Global Group (NYGG), an international investment banking, venture investment, and strategic consulting firm based out of New York and Beijing. To date, NYGG has facilitated in over 180 US-China business transactions since the beginning of the Group's work with China in 1998. In its time as an international investment link between the East and West, New York Global Group (under the direction of Benjamin Wey) has won many distinctions, including “Best Foreign Investment Banking Firm Serving China's Middle Markets,” from China Securities Daily in 2006.
