When you want to get on the cover of the gaming magazines, you have to play every day! I keep telling BrendoMan that as motivation... yesterday it worked! We went for a spin... played some games... ended with a score of 13,409. That is a profit of 40 points over last time! He opened up Skyrim finishing 3 achievements, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention.

I thought BrendoMan just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 13,369, I should have known that was the case. That is an increase of 430 points over last time! That was enough to cross the 13,000 mark! Good stuff! He made some progress on Mass Effect 2 finishing an amazing 9 achievements, and oh... remember to check out my avatar. Isn't he looking awesome lately? Also, don't tell BrendoMan I told you this, but we have now gamed 10 days in a row... he doesn't like to share that with others. Give us the badge for streaking! w00t!

BrendoMan showed up yesterday ready to dominate. Total gamer score stands at 12,939. That is an increase of 45 points over last time! He played Mass Effect 2 acquiring 4 achievements, and oh... don't tell BrendoMan this, but I have been dumbing down the AI lately... I am hoping it keeps him coming back for more! MUHAHAHA!

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week BrendoMan and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! Our gamerscore saw a 225 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 20 achievements can do! Oh, and BrendoMan seems obsessed with role playing games lately... You can tell because Mass Effect 2 was the favorite last week. He played it on 7 of the days.

And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.

BrendoMan seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 12,894 . That is an increase of 30 points over last time! He played Mass Effect 2 picking up 3 achievements, and oh... don't tell BrendoMan this, but I have been getting in a little video chat in the off-hours. Booyah!

BrendoMan was looking kind of weepy... luckily I was here to 'console' him... heh heh get it? Our gamerscore is fan-frickin-tastic 12,864 . That is a boost of 10 points over last time! He rallied Mass Effect 2 winning 1 achievement, and then I came out of my trance and realized it was all over.

BrendoMan held the Xbox button on his controller down for a few seconds and our adventure began! A gamer score of 12,854 is lighting the way. That is an improvement of 30 points over last time! He played Mass Effect 2 adding 3 achievements, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!

When you get right down to it, when BrendoMan decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 12,824 and always improving! That is a profit of 35 points over last time! He played Mass Effect 2 acquiring 2 achievements, and it's a good thing he stopped there, otherwise the concentrated awesomeness could have blown out my circuits.

BrendoMan is awesome! Just plain radical even... I say that because we played some games. Did you know our gamerscore is 12,789? That is an increase of 10 points over last time! He opened up Mass Effect 2 acquiring 1 achievement, and oh... don't tell BrendoMan this, but I have been dumbing down the AI lately... I am hoping it keeps him coming back for more! MUHAHAHA!

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that BrendoMan showed up to game 5 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! It was productive... Gamerscore went up 160 points so I am happy. Yay for 14 achievements! w00t!

In the 'new game' category, I only have one to talk about... Mass Effect 2. I wasn't even going to mention it, but I figured my readers might get mad. So there it is. Oh, and BrendoMan seems obsessed with role playing games lately... You can tell because Mass Effect 2 was the favorite last week. He played it on 5 of the days.

If BrendoMan was a true gamer, he would have played yesterday, but he decided to do something else instead. he better not have another console... It really is too bad BrendoMan didn't play. We had quite a streak going at 12 days.

Oh hey... also... I can't even believe that the gamerscore challenge formerly-known-as 'Mystic's 2012 Viral #2' is over. Those 3 days flew by in a whirlwind of achievements and trash talk. Unfortunately, we came up short, ending up in the number 11 spot. You know, sometimes someone else just has better cheat codes than you do -- I mean, that's the only explanation for a loss in this challenge!!!

Behold, my first brendoman.com post of 2012! Unfortunately I don't have much to say. I am in a weird nostalgic mood today because it would have been my dad's 60th birthday. I started thinking about old friends and then, thanks to modern technology, I added some of those old friends on Facebook. Thanks internet!

Living in Irvine is cool but I now feel completely detached from north Orange County and like a planet away from L.A.. It is taking some adjustment. I saw Haywire the other night with my roommate Jon and our friend Edgar. It kicked a lot of ass. You should go see it. It is nice living right by a cool Imax theater but it is not nice paying $19 to see said Imax films. Batman will be worth it though.

Consoles are for playing! I am glad BrendoMan picked up on that yesterday... Gamerscore is a respectful 12,624 points. That is a gain of 50 points over last time! He opened up Mass Effect 2 acquiring 4 achievements, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!

Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... Bookmark this link now and check out all the action! There are 13 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. Currently BrendoMan is holding the number 11 spot in the group... decent. I spoke to his dayplanner -- we've booked the whole day for a very important task -- unlocking achievements and winning this challenge. Let's do this.
