Attempting to use [name], [romext] and others on the command line for external applications results in them not being replaced and instead passing along a literal [name], for example. The code in question is in win_main.py.

Sure, Archos isn't tops when it comes to sexy, but there's enough technical doohickery in these new Archos 5 "Internet Media Tablets" to keep you busy for a while -- and they're now shipping. Google Reader: Takahashi lays into Xbox 360 defects with insider info, MS ignored warning signs

Dean Takahashi has decided to let rip into the Xbox 360\'s defects and history of video game woes using his insider information. He states that MS knew all about the flawed machines but did not delay launch because it thought it would ride the learning curve and improve production. Takashi further asserts that MS didn\'t ensure resources to handle returns and quickly debug bad consoles and there were plenty of warning signs but they selected to IGNORE THEM with a poorly aligned business.
